Stretch Mark Camouflage

Concealing Stretch Marks with Expert Camouflage Tattoing

Until now, there has been so very little available for the recovery, treatment and healing of stretch marks.

Scar & stretch mark camouflage, also known as Paramedical tattooing, means different things to different people, but in it’s core it is all about healing – emotionally, mentally and physically.

With Skin & Ko scar and stretch mark treatments, there are 2 camouflage treatment options available and the best option for you will be discussed during your consultation. Keep reading below to read about these 2 options.

First, book a consultation with the clinic (‘Skin and Ko Perth’) to answer your questions, discuss the skin preparation required, what to expect before – during – after treatment and the healing process is discussed with pictures to accompany this information. Then, your individual skin plan will be designed and discussed.

Pricing

It is very hard to quote pricing in messages, sight unseen, as it is important to see and feel the structure and texture of the skin to best determine the number of skin preparation treatments and actual inkless/camouflage treatments required per individual.

*Any quotes given in messages will be an estimate until meeting in person in consultation where a more accurate quote is given to avoid over quoting.

Please send a CLEAR – WELL LIT – no shadows, no filters picture of each area with:

N

description of where they are on the body

N

size of the area (ie: if it is the bottom, do the marks go into the thighs in the front / back etc)

N

age of the stretch mark / scar

You will be given your very own individual camouflage plan including skin preparation, Skin & Ko Perth treatment and pre/aftercare products to suit your individual needs.

Skin Preparation Treatment Protocol

Marnie from Scar Treatment Perth (or whatever you are calling us?!) is THE VERY FIRST to implement the effective use of LED into the local and global Camouflage and cosmetic tattoo fields.

We implement the skin preparation protocol to EACH and every client to obtain the best results possible when performing our inkless and camouflage treatments.
The results being obtained with this skin preparation protocol is a shorter healing time and greatly improved, consistent results.

The 2 Treatment Options for Stretch Mark Camouflage

1. Inkless treatment

The first option is inkless treatment which is treating the scars and stretch marks with a specially formulated vegan serum, NO pigments at all, that has healing and skin rejuvenation properties that will help revive the skin’s elasticity which in turn revives its colour, helping the skin to actually colour correct itself.

Inkless is chosen for treating the texture of the skin when the stretch marks can be felt, when the stretch marks are deep and needing to be smoothed, for religious reason barring tattoos or if you are just fearful of pigments.

How many sessions of inkless do I need?

The amount of INKLESS sessions varies per individual and case by case. Typically 2 -3 sessions for most cases. There will be improvement from the very first session. The skin has an amazing ability to colour correct itself with these inkless treatments.

Healing time: 3 to 6 weeks for most cases, a darker skin may take up to 10+weeks to heal due to the melanin content in the skin.

2. Camouflage tattoo treatment

The second option is with Camouflage Tattoo Treatment, custom blended SKIN TONE inks/pigments are matched to your own skin tone, using Skin & Ko Perth’s revolutionary skin tone reader device, filling in the areas where your natural pigment is missing… ie: white/silver stretch marks and scars. However, if you have new/ pink/purple stretch marks, please reach out as there is other helpful treatments in the clinic for this, until the stretch marks are ready for the treatment.

How many sessions of Camouflage do I need?

The amount of camouflage sessions varies per individual and case by case. Typically 1-3 sessions for most cases, however if starting with inkless first then moving on to our camouflage treatment you may only require 1-2 camouflage treatments. There will be improvement from the very first session.

Healing time: 3 to 6 weeks for most cases, however a darker skin tone may take up to 10+weeks to heal due to the melanin content in the skin. Patience is key in the healing process as Camouflage Tattoo Perth is not an overnight process.

Unfortunately, the results are not instant. As the pigment is flesh toned and stretch mark / scar tissue is commonly not uniform throughout, initial treatments may appear to have subtle progress. However to anyone who has embarrassing stretch marks and scars, progress is still progress.

Think of it as concealer for your body, but wayyyy better… plus, it’s permanent!

Once healing is completed, the scars & stretch marks are less noticeable and you can feel confident in your shorts, skirts, dresses, shirts and bikinis again.
